The ‘I desire to love & be loved’ notion and the Ambitious Mind.

Every person has a desire to love and be loved. Whenever spoken about love the first thought across your mind is your LOVE, the special someone or explicitly the one who has been occupying your mind totally gratuitous or unpaid 24×7.To love and be loved can happen at any given point of life but your MIND, the ambitious one, is left deserted.

What is LOVE? have you ever thought of a definition? Love cannot be defined as it has various dimensions, perceptions and images. I would probably define it as a strong feeling of affection with a great interest and pleasure which makes a person, feel content. ( My own definition, if I was to define it). Surprisingly there is a place where the main characteristics of LOVE were inscribed way back , and it is in the Holy Bible.

1Corinthians 13:4-8, describes the characteristics of LOVE as:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

One great love exists that can never be replaced, the love of God which saved us, which liberates us and completes us in all possible ways. His love is irreplaceable and endless. He never differentiates between people but loves them all endlessly; ENDLESS LOVE or as quoted in Hindi ASEEM MOHABBAT.

As the characteristics itself apprehend the meaning of love. The next huge question that pops up is, why is it easy to be carried away by love while the intellectualism still plays a vital role in chasing your dreams? Before you think any further let me tell you the nous. Love makes one feel content and wants him to love and be loved. The idea of loving can go absolutely flawed if it is not well studied and understood.

On the contrary, AMBITION can be defined as a strong will to do or achieve a fixed goal. Ambitions are meant to be achieved. They are not meant to be deserted for the sake of any other cause. A person can be remarkably ambitious but when the notion of LOVE crosses the path, ambitions slowly seems to be fading.

Life is a journey where the least used path leads to a beautiful destination unknown and the frequently used ones also leads to a destination but an acquainted one. Here the frequently used path is the desire to love and be loved, where the other is your ambitious MIND.

The choice is yours to take either of the paths or I would like to suggest you to take your mind and intellectualism  along with the ‘I desire to love and be loved’ notion. The idea of leaving your mind deserted while following the love notion is a very old phenomena whose roads leads to lost ambitions and goals.

Change the tradition, break the chain and be a forerunner. Find love, fall madly in love and never forget your ambitions. The magical ingredient to be stuffed in your partner is to help and support you to chase the big fat dreams of yours.  Persuade each other to hunt and pursue your very own dreams. Just as responsibility and authority goes hand in hand, make it possible for love and mind to go hand in hand.

The ‘I desire to love and be loved ‘ notion with hunting and pursuing the ambitious dreams, would be a blockbuster. So, become the forerunner and lead the way to a new and a very happening life….

I am beholden to SAM CHRISTY VARGHESE, the only person behind this tyro scribbler who tried to understand the whole tangled thought process and helped me put it down in a more precise way. Bhaiya, this was never possible without you. THANK YOU – The Tyro Scribbler (Evlyn)
